Deannie, Dental Hygienist
What inspired you to work in dentistry?
I wanted to be a dental hygienist from a young age. The hygiene list at Good Neighbors recently inspired me. I knew early on I wanted a career where I could help people feel confident about their smiles and overall health.
How do you help patients feel comfortable or confident during their visit?
I focus on creating a calm, judgment free environment. I take time to listen to the patient’s concerns, explain things clearly, move at a pace that feels comfortable for them. Helping patients feel heard and cared for is just as important to me as the clinical care itself.
